Buses


Public buses operate between the airport and a number of major destinations in the city including Wien Schwedenplatz and the Vienna International Centre as well as Wien Mitte, Südbahnhof and Westbahnhof railway stations. Bus connections to other parts of the country are available from Vienna city centre.


Shuttle Buses


An airport shuttle service to Vienna city centre is available. It is necessary that you book in advance by calling: +43 7007 35910. Some hotels offer shuttles from the airport subject to prior arrangement.

Hotel Shuttles


Reputable hotels invariably offer pick-up services for passengers staying at their establishments. Passengers requiring this service should contact their hotel ahead of arrival at the airport to check the availability of such services.

Trains


The City Airport Train operates services between the airport and City Air Terminal at Wien Mitte. An alternative rail system, known as the S-Bahn, operates between the airport and Wien Mitte and Wien Nord railway stations, with connections to the Vienna U-Bahn system.

Taxi Cabs


A taxi stand is located just north of the Arrivals Hall, from where taxis can be hired for journeys to downtown Vienna and a host of other destinations. This can prove to be an expensive option.
